Barber Electric “Type 3R Hinge Cover Enclosures” are designed for use as wiring boxes and junction boxes in outdoor installations. They are designed to protect the enclosed equipment against rain and sleet.

These enclosures are made from 16 and 14 gauge galvanized steel. A drip shield top and smooth, seamless sides prevent rain, snow, and sleet from entering the enclosure. The cover is hinged on the left side with a continuous hinge and is held shut by a padlockable pull catch. External feet are provided for mounting. These enclosures are studded for optional back panels. The standard finish for these enclosures is ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coat.

Barber Electric can supply holes, cutouts, special materials, special finishes, and many other modifications. Please consult the factory for any special needs.
