Small Type 1 Panel Enclosures

Barber Electric small “Type 1 Panel Enclosures” are used as control enclosures in areas which do not require oil-tight and dust-tight characteristics.

Barber Electric small "Type 1 Panel Enclosures" are made from 16 gauge steel. The covers have continuous hinges and are held closed with latches, which can be operated with a coin or screwdriver. Holes are provided in the back of the enclosures for mounting. Weldnuts are provided for mounting optional panels.

The standard finish for these enclosures is ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coat and the finish for the panels is white powder coat. Barber Electric can supply holes, hubs, louvers, cutouts, special finishes, and many other modifications.

Type 1 Panel Enclosures

Barber Electric "Type 1 Panel Enclosures" are used to house electrical and electronic controls in areas not requiring oil-tight and dust-tight specifications.

Barber Electric "Type 1 Panel Enclosures" are made from 14 gauge steel. Each enclosure has a removable 14 or 12 gauge steel panel mounted on collar studs. Doors have continuous hinges and T-handle latches. Holes are provided in the back of the enclosures for mounting.

The finish for these enclosures is light grey and the finish for the panels is white. As always, Barber Electric can supply holes, hubs, louvers, cutouts, special finishes, and many other modifications.

Extra Large Type 1 Panel Enclosures

Barber Electric extra large "Type 1 Panel Enclosures" are used to house electrical and electronic controls and are designed for installations which do not require oil-tight and dust-tight characteristics.

Barber Electric extra large "Type 1 Panel Enclosures" are made from 14 gauge steel. Doors have continuous hinges and non-locking handles with a single point latch. Body stiffeners and door stiffeners are provided in larger enclosures. External feet are provided for mounting. Collar studs are included for mounting the option panel.

The finish for these enclosures is light grey and the finish for the panels is white. As always, Barber Electric can supply holes, hubs, louvers, cutouts, special finishes, and many other modifications.
